The Why of Transitions, their purpose and specific meaning often are deep, vast & unknowable.
Life itself is a mystery. As much as we love to think we know the reason & rationale for anything, some experiences just are. Encoded with clues, invitations & discoveries their gift is to be known through experience.
When I am struggling, find myself in the spin of the “why” questions in a transition, I pause, take a breath and choose to engage in an art form that reminds me of the mystery.
This is one of many poems I turn to by Mary Oliver.
May it offer you a reminder too.
